Carr, a senior defender, was named MVP of the Empire 8 Tournament for women's soccer as the Golden Flyers claimed a share of the E8 title following a 2-0 win over Stevens and a 0-0 tie with Ithaca. Earlier in the week, Carr was named E8 Defensive Player of the Year by anchoring a Golden Flyer defense that has yielded just 14 goals in 20 games of a 0.68 goals-against average with 10 shutouts.
