Winney made 11 saves while holding Brockport scoreless as Nazareth opened its 2014 field hockey season with a 2-0 non-conference victory. Included in the 11 saves was a glove-hand stop of a Brockport penalty stroke early in the second half to preserve a one-goal Nazareth lead. The shutout was the third of Winney's career.
