Biochemistry major... born 01/06/95… son of Michael and Lisa Murray, Waterville, N.Y… returning for his third season of track and field, Murray had indoor season-best times of 1:11.04 in the 500 and 2:09.27 in the 800.

2016: Murray competed during the 2015/16 indoor and outdoor seasons… ran a personal-best time of 1:09.37 in the 500-meter run during the RIT Tiger Invitational .. had season-best times of 55.29 in the 400 and 2:00.65 in the 200 ... during the outdoor season posted a 1:03.82 in the 400 hurdles at the Empire 8 Championships on 4/23/16 ... competed in fall on the cross country team with an 8k best of 29:19.4 at the Harry F. Austin Invititational on 9/24/16.

2015: part of a school-record breaking 4 x 400-meter relay that posted a top time of 3:18.42 and won NYSCTC and Empire 8 Conference titles… also ran 2:03.52 for 800 meters and 4:31.16 for 1,500 meters… during the indoor season, Murray ran 1:09.68 in the 500-meter run and 1:59.42 in the 800-meter run... finished eighth in the 800 at the E8 Championship meet at Houghton on 2/14/15 and 10th in the same event at the NYSCTC meet at RIT on 2/28/15... part of the 4 x 400-meter relay that set a school record of 3:24.95 with a first-place finish at the Bomber Invitational on 2/1/15... completed his third ross country season for the Golden Flyers in 2015 and had a season-best time of 28:03.8 for 8 kilometers to finish in 49th at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Houghton.

2014: Murray had top times of 4:53.27 in the mile, 1:09.59 in the 500-meter dash and 2:54.19 in the 1,000-meter run during the indoor season... best outdoor times were :53.96 in the 400-meter dash, 2:00.92 in the 800 and 4:23.45 in the 1,500.

Scholastic: a graduate of Waterville Central, Murray was a member of the cross country, basketball and track teams… a middle distance runner, Murray was selected team MVP in track and also earned Section Three all-star honors… competed in 4 x 800- and 4 x 400-meter relays that captured Center State Conference and Section Three titles… earned Section Three all-star honors in basketball and helped team to league title in 2013… served as class salutatorian and earned a New York State Regents Scholarship.
