Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major... born 7/8/96... daughter of Sam and Michele Goble, Waverly, N.Y... Goble has excelled for the Golden Flyers in track and field tha past two years and is competing in cross country for the first time in 2016.

Track and Field: Goble had a breakout sophomore season in track and field... during the indoor season notched a career-best 2:15.82 in the 800-meter run at the SLU Fast Chance Qualifier to place third... best 400-meter time was 1:00.65 at the RIT Tiger Invitational... finished second in the Geneseo Invite on 3/30/16 in the 400 in a season-best time of 1:00.28... ran a 4:50.67 in the 1,500-meter run at the Naz Roc City Classic... placed second at the Empire 8 Championships in the 800 (2:18.44) and was a part of the 4 x 400-meter squad that finished second (4:06.12).

 2015: Goble enjoyed a strong first season for the Golden Flyers both indoors and outdoors... during the outdoor season, helped Nazareth to first-place finishes and school records in the 4 x 400-meter (3:53.49) and 4 x 800-meter (9:18.97) relays at the NYSCTC Championships at St. Lawrence... posted a season-best time of 2:17.65 in the 800-meter run to finish third at the NYSCTC meet... also finished second in that event at the Empire 8 Conference meet... during the 2015 indoor season, Goble posted top times of :28.50 for 200 meters, 1:01.01 for 400 meters and 1:19.27 for 500 meters... finished third in the 400 at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Houghton on 2/14/15 and fifth in the 500-meter run at the NYSCTC meet at RIT on 2/28/15... part of the conference winning 4 x 400-meter relay and the record-setting relay that finished ninth at the ECAC meet with a time 4:00.84.

Scholastic: a graduate of Waverly High School, Goble competed in indoor and outdoor track and field as well as swimming... won MVP of John Childs Invitational in Sayre, Pa. in 2014... also part of 4 x 400-meter relay that won the Section Four title.
