Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major... born 12/1/96... daughter of Michael and Beth Soeder, Baldwinsville, N.Y... returning for her third season, Soeder expanded outside the high jump to also do the long jump during the 2016-17 indoor season ... jumped a personal-best 1.65 meters (5 feet, 5 inches) in the high jump at the Empire 8 Championships to take first place ... also had a personal-best jump at the E8 meet in the triple jump with a mark of 9.40 meters (30 feet, 10 1/4 inches) to take 12th.  

2016: Soeder continued to excel for the Golden Flyers as a high jumper in 2016... broke her own school outdoor record by clearning 1.62 meters (5 feet, 3 3/4 inches) at Moravian's Greyhound Invitational... finished third at both the NYSCTC meet and the Empire 8 Conference meet during the outdoor season... finished fifth at the NYSCTC meet during the indoor season.

2015: Soeder had a strong outdoor season for the Golden Flyers in 2015 by clearing a height of 1.61 meters (5 feet, 3 1/4 inches) in the high jump at Albany on 5/8/15... placed third at both the Empire 8 Conference meet and at the NYSCTC Championships... was injured for most of the indoor season and competed in one meet and jumped 1.55 meters (5 feet, 1 inch) at Cornell's Greg Page Relays.

Scholastic: a graduate of C.W. Baker High, Soeder competed as a high jumper there for four seasons... named C.W. Baker's Female Athlete of the year for 2014 after placing 14th at the state outdoor championships and sixth indoors... won Onondaga League indoor and outdoor titles three times and Section Three indoor and outdoor titles twice each... member of National Honor Society and recipient of German-American Society of CNY scholarship, Amanda Sugar Memorial scholarship and Baldwinsville Harriers Booster scholarship.
