Kate Zwickl amassed 41 assists Tuesday as Nazareth outlasted upset-minded Geneseo in a non-conference women's volleyball match in five sets. Scores were 22-25, 25-12, 14-25, 25-16, 15-8. The match was the season opener for both teams.

Katelynn Reed, a third-team All-American for the Golden Flyers in 2008, contributed 11 kills in 19 attempts for a .421 hitting percentage and senior
Mallorie Clary, an honorable mention All-American, had a match-high 18 digs.
Other numbers included 13 digs for junior
Megan Rogers and nine kills, eight digs and four service aces for freshman
Aubrey Cooke. Krista Frieling had 12 kills for Geneseo.
Nazareth travels to Cortland third weekend for the annual Red Dragon Invitational. The Golden Flyers have pool play matches against Potsdam and Daemen Friday, the action resumes Saturday at 10 a.m.
