Lizzie Barlow and junior
Lisa Nazarenko are Nazareth's representatives on the 2009 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Northeast Region all-star team.
Barlow, a first baseman, and Nazarenko, a pitcher/infielder, were third-team selections after helping Nazareth to a 17-17 overall record in just its third season of intercollegiate play.
Barlow, of Cazenovia, N.Y. and a graduate of Cazenovia High School, batted .372 in 86 at bats for the Golden Flyers in 2009 with seven extra-base hits and 12 runs batted in.
Nazarenko, of Victor, N.Y. and a graduate of Victor High School, was Nazareth's leading hitter with a .446 batting average with team highs in home runs (7) and runs batted in (26). She also posted an 8-4 record on the pitcher's mound with 87 strikeouts in 82 innings pitched.
