ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth's equestrian team opened its season with an ambitious weekend as the Golden Flyers had back-to-back shows Saturday and Sunday at Lehman Farms.
In Saturday's show, hosted by RIT, Nazareth finished in sixth place out of 13 teams with 21 points. Sunday's show was hosted by Geneseo and Nazareth finished in a tie for seventh place with 23 points.

Caley Fain finished first in her beginnger Walk-Trot-Canter Equitation class. On Sunday, sophomore
Kali Knickerbocker won her Intermediate Equitation on the Flat division and junior
Amber Streicher finished second in the Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter Equitation division and moved up to the Novice division. She also qualified for regional competition.
Nazareth's next competition is Nov. 14 with its own show at Lehman Farms.
