Phil Steckley, former head athletic trainer at Irondequoit High School, was hired in 2014 as assistant athletic trainer at Nazareth. His primary sport responsibilities include men's soccer, track and field, men's and women's golf, and women's lacrosse.
Steckley began working at Irondequoit in 2006 and also has experience as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has had additional athletic training assignments at the University of Rochester, Agape Physical Therapy and Canisius College.
Steckley earned an undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine and Physical Education from Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. He has a Master's degree from Canisius. Steckley also has worked for Buffalo Blizzard pro soccer team and the Buffalo Bandits pro lacrosse team.
Steckley resides in Irondequoit with his wife Meg and two daughters.
