Dr. Brian Giordano became the official team physician of the Nazareth College Golden Flyers in 2012.
A native of Palmyra, N.Y., Giordano earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Following that, he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Kerlan Jobe Orthropaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He's cared for several sports teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers and other professional and collegiate teams.
Giordano is board-eligible in orthopaedic surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Medical Association. He has authored several articles on topics including radiation exposure and knee disorders.
Giordano also serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is a specialist in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the hip.
