Biography
Global Business and Leadership major... son of Tuan Luong and Thao Le, Endicott, N.Y... returning for a fifth season, Luong decided to use an additional season of eligibility that was awarded because of the COVID-19 pandemic... had a 7-3 singles record in 2021 and went 4-5 overall at second doubles... gained second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors for singles.
2019-20: Luong went 4-4 at fourth singles and 4-1 in doubles matches in 2019-20.
2018-19: Luong won five singles matches and was 3-4 against Empire 8 competition in 2018-19.
2017-18: returning for his second season, Luong went 3-10 in both singles and doubles matches for the Golden Flyers in 2017-18... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year team.
Scholastic: a graduate of Union Endicott High School, Luong played tennis and soccer there... played three seasons of soccer and named the team's Defensive Player of the Year for 2016... earned first-team all-league honors in tennis... member of the National Honor Society.
