Sociology major. . . born 1/28/88. . . daughter of Skip and Michelle Clary, Baltimore, Md. . . returning for her third season, Clary continued to be the Golden Flyers' primary defensive specialist in 2008. . . appeared in 38 matches and tallied a team-high 626 digs. . . after two seasons at Nazareth, Clary ranks sixth all-time with 1,222 total digs. . . also added 178 assists and 17 service aces. . . tallied at least 15 digs in 20 of Nazareth's matches. . . recorded a career-high 32 digs against Stevens (10/26/08) and added 29 digs against RIT (10/25/08). . . also tallied 26 digs against Ithaca (10/26/08) and recorded 24 digs in four additional matches. . . had a career-high 41 assists against Geneseo (9/9/08) and added 34 assists against Rochester (8/30/08). . . earned All-American honorable mention honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association, was named to the New York Region all-star team, and was named the Empire 8 Conference Defensive Specialist of the Year. . .  2007: Clary transferred to Nazareth from UMBC and had a immediate impact as a defensive specialist. . . appeared in all 40 matches and a team-high 144 games. . . led the team with 596 digs (4.14 per game) and contributed 77 kills and 51 service aces. . . reached double figures in digs 31 times, including a high of 28 vs. RIT 11/3/07. . . had eight service aces vs. Lebanon Valley 8/31/07 . . . named to all-tournament team at Nazareth Invitational. . . at UMBC in 2006: played regularly as a defensive specialist for the Division I Retrievers and ranked third on the team with 246 digs (2.26 per game) as team finished 16-15 overall . . . Scholastic: a graduate of Catonsville High School in Maryland, Clary was a standout in volleyball and softball. . . was a three-time team MVP in volleyball and earned first-team all-city and all-county honors three times from the Baltimore Sun. . . earned similar honors twice as a shortstop in softball. . . selected Athlete of the Year  for 2006 by the Catonsville Times.
