Nazareth College Athletics

History and Education major... daughter of Matthew and Darlene Wiljanen, Brighton, Mich... returns for a fifth season of action as she takes advantage of the extra year of eligibility due to the Covid-19 pandemic … team captain was named All-UCHC as an honorable mention selection in 2022-23 played in every game and recorded 28 points on 15 goals and 13 assists … her 15 goals led the team and her 28 points ranked tied for third … started the season with six goals in the first five games including two against Wilkes (11/11) and two more against Lebanon Valley (11/18) … recorded three points with two goals and an assist against Neumann (12/3) and finished the weekend series with three goals and an assist … had four game-winning goals … finished the season ranked fourth on the all-time career points list with 87 and is third all-time with 45 career goals while ranking sixth with 42 career assists … named the Jeff VanGundy Award winner at the year-end Nazareth awards banquet … named to the UCHC All-Academic team. 

2021-22: Wiljanen appeared in all 29 games and scored 12 goals while handing out 14 assists for 26 points ... started the season with a goal and two assists in the 8-1 win over Buffalo State ... also scored a pair of goals in a 4-0 win over Chatham (11/6).

2020-21: Wiljanen played in nine games for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 season... finished third on the team in scoring with 10 points on a team-best six goals and four assists... had a four-point weekend against Chatham on 3/5 and 3/6/21 with one goal and one assist in each game... also scored at Elmira on 2/20/21, against Utica on 2/26/21, at Chatham on 4/3/21 and at Elmira on 4/6/21.

2019-20: Wiljanen was the Golden Flyers' top first-year scorer in 2019-20 as she appeared in 23 games and delivered 23 points on 12 goals and 11 assists with five goals coming via the power play... had three goals in an 8-0 win at Anna Maria on 11/8/19... had three points (2g, 1a) in a win over Suffolk on 11/2/19... scored two goals vs. King's on 2/15/20 and had two-point games at Anna Maria 91g, 1a) on 11/9/19, at Chatham (1g, 1a) on 1/18/20, against Stevenson (1g, 1a) on 2/1/20, vs. Alvernia (0g, 2a) on 2/2/20 and at Utica (1g, 1a) on 2/5/20... also scored in a 2-1 win over William Smith on 11/23/19... represented the Golden Flyers on the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's All-Academic team for players with GPAs of 3.20 and above.

Scholastic: a graduate of Brighton High School in Michigan, Wiljanen played for the Belle Tire 19U club team.
