Canandaigua native Kaitlin O'Hara returns to the Nazareth coaching staff in 2013 for her third season as a part-time assistant coach.
At 6-foot-3, O'Hara figures to cast a long shadow over the Golden Flyers' program after a solid four-year playing career at Division I Youngstown State in Ohio.
At Canandaigua, O'Hara earned first-team all-state honors as a senior in 2005 and third-team honors in '04 as she led the team to back-to-back Finger Lakes League titles. She also helped the team reach the state finals in '05.
At Youngstown, O'Hara was a steady contributor over four seasons as she delivered 664 kills and 197 blocks for her career, playing outside hitter and middle blocker.
O'Hara earned an undergraduate degree from Youngstown in Early Childhood Education and is taking graduate classes at Nazareth.
