Rochester native Jim Clar is back for his third season as a part-time assistant coach for the Golden Flyers.
A graduate of Churchville-Chili High School, Clar was a three-time Monroe County League all-star who helped the Saints to a state title in 2004. Before that he was a member of the U.S. Youth National team that competed in Montreal in 2003.
He went on to play and to serve as team captain at the University of Hawaii, graduating with a degree in Sociology. His coaching experience includes stints as boys JV coach at Spencerport High School and with the Rochester Volleyball Club.
