Brandon Waas, a former volleyball standout at Springfield College, joined the Nazareth athletic staff in 2012 as an assistant coach in women's volleyball.
A native of Spencerport, Waas graduated from Springfield in 2009 with a degree in American Studies. As a four-year member of the men's volleyball team, Waas was a member of the Pride team in 2008 that captured the Molten Division III National Championship.
Waas went on to gain a Masters of Education degree with concentration in Special Education from St. John Fisher in 2011.
Waas' coaching experience includes a current stint with the Pace Bootlegger Club team. He also has coached at several camps and clinics.
