Nazareth College Athletics

Daughter of Allen Hurd, Verona, NY … returning for her second season as a member of the Golden Flyers track and field team after competing in five meets for Nazareth in the 23-24 seasons... competed in three events including the 800, the mile, and the 3000... PR'd in the mile in January with a time of 6:12.26 (29th place), PR'd in the 800 in February with a time of 2:51.17 (14th place), and PR'd one week later in the 3000 with a time of 12:19.71 (28th place)... was named to the President's List for Academic Excellence in the and spring 2024 semester.

Scholastic: graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School where she competed on the cross country and track and field teams... specialized in middle distance and pole vault... earned Tri-Valley League all-star for all three sports as a senior ... Section Three champion in the 4x800 indoor and helped the teams to four TVL championships in her junior and senior years … earned the VVS Anne Pryor Memorial scholarship, Verona HS Alumni scholarship, Madison Oneida BOCES Nola Vrooman Memorial scholarship, Presidential Award and Certificate of Merit.
