Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major…daughter of Frank and Tracey Goetz, Fairport, N.Y… returning for her fourth season, Goetz ran well for the Golden Flyers' cross country team in 2008, placing 26th at the Empire 8 Conference meet, 49th at the NYSCTC championship meet and 128th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional. . . 2007: Goetz had several top-20 finishes, including a 19th-place finish at the Utica 5-K Invitational (22:00) and a  13th place finish at Nazareth's 4-K Invitational (17:11). . . also finished 61st at the Yellowjacket 5-K Invitational (20:54), and 39th at the Empire 8 Championship meet (20:31). . . placed 10th in the 500-meter run at Cornell  (1:29:63) during the indoor track and field season and finished fourth in the 1,500-meter run at Rochester (5:21) during the outdoor track and field season. . .  2006-07: Goetz finished 20th in the Nazareth Invitational…also runs for the track and field team . . . 2005-06: placed seventh at Nazareth's Short Course Invitational. . . also finished 30th at LeMoyne and 19th at the Empire 8 Conference meet. . . member of the school-record 4x800-meter relay team during the indoor track and field season. . .  Scholastic: a graduate of Fairport High School, Goetz participated in cross country for three years there… received first-team All Monroe County honors… placed sixth in Section Five meet, 48th in the state meet… recipient of the team Spark Plug Award… helped lead Fairport to sectional championships in 2002 and 2003… in 2002 the team continued on to place second in the state meet…member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
