Nazareth College Athletics

Daughter of Connelly and Elizabeth Jones, Sherrill, N.Y... returning for her second season with the Golden Flyers, Jones competed regularly for Nazareth in the 2023-24 seasons... competed in 10 events including the 200 (PR 29.10), the 800 (PR 2:45.35), the 60m hurdles (PR 10.02), the 100m hurdles (PR 18.12), the high jump (PR 1.45m), the long jump (PR 4.91m), shot put (PR 7.74m), javelin throw (PR 18.03m), pentathlon (PR 2583), and heptathlon (PR 3179)... at the E8 2023-24 Indoor Track and Field Championships, Jones placed 6th in the pentathlon with her PR score of 2583, placing 4th in high jump and long jump, 7th in 60m hurdles, 9th in the 800 (PR), and 11th in shot put... at the E8 2024 Outdoor track and field championships, she placed 6th in the heptathlon with her PR score of 3179, placing 4th in long jump (PR) and high jump, 6th in 100m hurdles (PR) and the 200 (PR) and javelin throw (PR), 7th in shot put, and 8th in the 800... was named to the President's List for Academic Excellence in both the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters.

Scholastic: a graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School, Jones competed in soccer, track and dance... competed in the pentathlon as well as the 100-meter hurdles and the high jump for the track team... won the Section Three B-1 pentathlon title during the 2022 and 2023 outdoor seasons as well as the long jump title during the 2023 indoor season.
