Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major… daughter of Gary and Alice Conkiln, Reading Center, N.Y. . . a standout on the Nazareth swimming and diving team, Conklin will compete on the outdoor track and field team for the first time this spring. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Watkins Glen High School, Conklin was a member of the swimming team for five seasons. . . Conklin was named team MVP three seasons, was a five-time Interscholastic Athletic Conference all-star, an I.A.C. Outstanding Swimmer,  NYSPHSAA Championship participant, broke the Section Four Class C record and the school record in the 100-yard fly; was the I.A.C. meet and league 100-yard fly record holder, and has nine pool records. . . twice named Star-Gazette Athlete of the Week, earned the Schuyler County Athlete Award, and recognized as the OdessaFile.com Athlete of the Year and helped team to Section Four Class C Championship in 2003. . . also competed on the track and field team for four seasons and basketball team for three seasons. . . holds two school records as part of the 4x800 and 4x1600-meter relay teams. . . as a basketball player, twice named an I.A.C. second-team all-star and earned Exceptional Senior award. . . Conklin is also a member of the National Honor Society and Business National Honor Society and earned a number of academic awards, including the Kodak Award for Innovation and Technology.
