Marketing major... born 3/4/98... daughter of Richard and Terra Ellis, Elmira, N.Y... competing in her first season for the Golden Flyers, Ellis made a splash in the indoor season ... was on the winning 4 x 400 relay team (4:09.79) at the Empire 8 meet ... ran a season-best 1:02.33 in the 400 to place eight at the NYSCTC meet on 2/24/17 ... notched a season-best 1:23.93 in the 500 at the Golden Eagle Invite on 2/18/17.
Scholastic: a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Ellis competed on the track team there for four seasons... won two Section Four titles in the 4 x 200-meter relay and one title in the 4 x 400-meter relay and advanced to the state meet three times... earned team's Most Improved award for 2016... a member of the high school honor roll.
