Biomedical Sciences major... daughter of Steven and Heather Young, Lowville, N.Y... a graduate of South Lewis Central, Young competed here in soccer and track... competed on the outdoor team for five varsity seasons and captured the Section Three Class C-1 long jump title in 2021 and set the school record in the 100-meter dash... helped team to Section Three outdoor title in 2019 and indoor title in 2020... played three seasons of varsity soccer and helped team to Niagara Pioneer Tournament title in 2021... recipient of several academic awards and scholarships, including the Presidents' Award for Educational Excellence in 2019, the Elks Club Local 1605 Scholarship, the Captain Elizabeth Bush Memorial Scholarship, the Northern New York Community Foundation Herring College Memorial Scholarship and the Norbert L. Gazin Scholarship.
