Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy and Psychology major… born 12/3/95… daughter of Doug and Christina Smith, Hornell, N.Y… returning for her third season of track and field, Larnard put together season-best times of 1:05.49 in the 400 and 1:28.07 in the 500 for the indoor season. 

2016: Larnard competed both indoors and outdoors in 2016 and ran :28.52 for 200 meters and 1:22.30 for 500 meters during the indoor season... ran 1:00.42 for 400 meters and 2:30.01 for 800 meters during the outdoor season... ran on the 4 x 400-meter relay that finished third (4:02.40) at the NYSCTC Outdoor meet at Rensselaer.

2015: during the outdoor season, Larnard was a member of the 4 x 400-meter relay team that posted a school-record time of 3:53.49 at St. Lawrence to win the title at the NYSCTC meet... also finished first in that event at the Empire 8 Conference meet... had a time of 1:01.64 in the 400-meter dash... competed during the indoor season and top times included 1:02.51 for 400 meters, 1:27.00 for 500 meters and 2:37.49 for 800 meters... ran on two record-breaking relays -- the 4 x 400-meter relay than ran 4:00.84 at the ECAC meet at the New York City Armory and the distance medley relay that ran 12:38.11 at RIT on 2/27/15... competed for the Golden Flyers' cross country team in the fall of 2014 and finished 36th at the Empire 8 Conference meet with a time of 20:03.8 for three miles at Saratoga State Park... top 6-kilometer time was 25:30.5 at the Geneseo Invitational at Letchworth State Park.

Scholastic: a graduate of Canisteo-Greenwood High, Larnard was a member of the cross country, swimming and track teams… recipient of Harvey Anderson scholar-athlete award for Section Five by the Rochester Press-Radio Club for 2014… served as team captain for all three sports and broke the school record in the 800-meter run (2:25.65) and in the 100 breaststroke for swimming (1:22.43)… won Steuben County League titles in four events and helped team win the 4 x 400-meter relay and Section Five Class C title in 2013… honored as co-salutatorian for the Class of 2014… recipient of New York State Education Department Academic Excellence Award and a member of the National Honor Society.
