Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major... daughter of John and Julie Schantz, Rochester, N.Y....returning for her third season, Schantz played in the top doubles position for a majority of the 2018-19 season... teamed with doubles partner Brooke Murphy, Schantz picked up seven victories, including a 3-3 mark in Empire 8 action... she also earned a victory in singles action with a 6-3, 6-3 victory in the No. 5 position against Utica … earned Empire 8 President’s List honors for student-athletes that achieve at least a 3.75 grade point average.

2017-18: returning for her second season, Schantz played regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2017-18, finishing 8-11 overall in doubles action.

Scholastic: a graduate of Brighton High School, Schantz excelled in tennis and alpine skiing... helped Barons to Section five title in tennis in 2017 while serving as team captain... earned first-team Monroe County League all-star honors in doubles in 2017 and honorable mention All-Great Rochester.... a four-time scholar-athlete award winner.
