Albany native Bob Sherwood joined the Nazareth tennis staff in January of 2022 as a part-time assistant coach for the men's and women's tennis teams.
Sherwood played scholastically at Shaker High School in Latham, N.Y. and won 20 singles matches there over a two-year stretch. He went on to play at St. John Fisher and graduated from there in 1985 with a B.S. degree in Business Management. He went on to earn an MBA from the Sage Graduate School at Russell Sage College in 1995.
Sherwood has spent most of his professional career in sales and sales management within the consumer product and construction industries. He has additional tennis experience as a Rochester area player and has been a member at the Tennis Club of Rochester for nearly two decades.
