Biography
Finance and Economics major... ... daughter of Richard and Laura Heaton, Whitesboro, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Heaton's top performances in 2018-19 included 1:14.66 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:42.13 in the 200 breaststroke and 5:42.08 in the 500 freestyle.
2017-18: Heaton contributed for the Golden Flyers at the Empire 8 Conference meet in 2018 by placing sixth in the 1,650 freestyle (18:54.73) and eighth in the 500 freestyle (5:35.19)... also swam 10th in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.52)... swam as part of the 800 free relay that finished fourth in 8:17.73.
2016-17: Heaton performed regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2016-17 and had top times of 5:31.68 in the 500 freestyle, 1:12.17 in the 100 breaststroke and 2:38.98 in the 200 breaststroke... recipient of team's Newcomer of the Year Award.
Scholastic: a graduate of Whitesboro High School, Heaton competed for five seasons of swimming in distance freestyle events and won the Section Three Class B title in the 500 free in 2012... also competed for the Clinton Cudas club team... member of the National Honor Society and recipient of Nazareth Leadership Scholarship.
