Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major... daughter of John and Kathy Schoemick, Grand Island, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Schoemick excelled for the Golden Flyers in the breaststroke during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... finished fourth in both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes at the Rochester Invitational with times of 1:08.07 and 2:33.83 respectively as Nazareth won the team title... also placed 10th in the 200 IM (2:23.21)... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2019-20: Schoemick figured prominently in the Golden Flyers rise to their third straight Empire 8 Conference title as she served as a member of the winning 200 medley relay (1:47.05) at the Allegheny Empire Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... reached the finals in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events, placing third in each with times of 1:08.01 and 2:31.92 respectively... finished ninth in the 200 IM (2:20.61)... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2018-19: Schoemick swam regularly in 2018-19, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.35) at the Empire 8 Conference meet... also finished seventh in the 200 breaststroke (2:37.52) and 13th in the 200 IM (2:22.32).

Scholastic: a graduate of Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, Schoemick competed there in swimming and track... swam for four seasons and helped team to two league titles... also swam for the Grand Island Piranhas... recipient of Nazareth Presidential Scholarship and Zonta Club of Grand Island Scholarship.
