Nazareth College Athletics

Biomedical Sciences major... daughter of Jeff and Adrienne Shuron, Camillus, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Shuron was a finalist in two events at the Allegheny Empire Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center in February... placed seventh in both the 500 freestyle (5:25.63) and the 400 IM (5:01.16)... placed 11th in the 1,650 freestyle (19:00.00) and 12th in the 800 free relay (8:15.17)... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2018-19: Shuron excelled for the Golden Flyers at the Empire 8 Conference meet in 2017-18 as she finished fourth in the 1,650 freestyle (18:35.35)... also swam fifth in the 400 IM (4:55.18) and seventh in the 500 freestyle (5:25.87)... recipient of team's Hardest Worker Award.

2017-18: Shuron excelled for Nazareth in 2017-18 in the distance freestyle events by placing fifth in both the 500 and 1,650 freestyles at the Empire 8 Conference meet with times of 5:29.04 and 18:48.60 respectively... also finished seventh in the 400 IM (5:06.47)... swam as part of the 800 free relay that finished fourth in 8:17.73.

Scholastic: a graduate of West Genesee High School, Shuron was a four-year member of the varsity swim team there, specializing in the 200- and 500-yard freestyles... earned Academic All-American honors... member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society... swam for the Skaneateles Lightning swim club.
