Nazareth College Athletics

Business Management major... daughter of Robert and Cheryl Spina, New Hartford, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Spina's top 2021 times included :58.62 in the 100 freestyle and 1:08.11 in the 200 backstroke.

2019-20: Spina's top times in 2019-20 included :25.10 in the 50 freestyle, :54.26 in the 100 freestyle and 1:01.09 in the 100 butterfly.

2018-19: Spina was among the team's top swimmers in 2018-19 as she earned second-team all-E8 honors as a member of the 400 freestyle relay (3:37.58)... also placed third in the 800 freestyle relay (7:59.84), fourth in the 400 IM (4:49.00), fifth in the 100 freestyle (:54.26) and seventh in the 200 IM (2:16.10).

Scholastic: a graduate of New Hartford Central, Spina was a five-year member of the swim team there... served as team captain as a senior and was a two-time Mohawk Valley League all-star... helped team to Section Three titles in 2014 and 2017... swam for New Hartford Aquatics club team... member of National Honor Society and recipient of several scholarship award, including Mary M. Watkins Scholarship for excellence in French and Anna Dallas Ransbury Scholarship .
