Nazareth College Athletics

Nursing major... daughter of Larry and Meg Deck, Whitesboro, N.Y... returning for her third season, Deck was instrumental in helping the Golden Flyers to their fourth straight Empire 8 Conference title by swimming on three winning relays and placing second in two other individual events... had personal-best times in the 50 free (:24.91) and the 100 free (:54.37) to place second and had a top time in the 200 free (2:00.16) to finish sixth... three winning relays were the 800 free relay (758.09); the 200 free relay (1:38.37); and the 400 free relay (3:38.00)... also second in the 400 medley relay (4:02.61)... named to the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2021-22:  Deck earned her spot as one of the top freestyle sprinters with the Golden Flyers... as an exhibition in the Allegheny Mountain / Empire 8 Collegiate Conference Championship meet, she would have had a 5th place finish with a best time in her 100 freestyle (55.66)... her performance would have led her to an additional 5th place finish in the 50 freestyle (25.50).

Scholastic: a graduate of Whitesboro High School, Deck was a varsity swimmer there for five seasons... won both the 50 and 100 freestyles as well as the 200 free relay at the Center State Conference Championships in 2021... also placed second in the 50 free and third in the 100 free at the Section Three Class C meet... earned scholar-athlete honors and competed for the New Hartford Aquatics club team.
