Communication and Rhetoric major. . . daughter of Lyle and Cathy Beane, New Hartford, N.Y. . . returning for her fourth season, Beane produced 130 points for the Golden Flyers in 2007-08. . . top performances included :25.47 in the 50-yard freestyle, :57.65 in the 100-yard freestyle and 2:09.38 in the 200-yard freestyle. . . earned second-team all-Empire 8 honors as part of the 200 freestyle relay. . . part of school record in that event (1:39.97). . . also part of the 200-meter freestyle record (1:55.90). . . finished ninth in the 50 free and 13th in the 100 free at the E8 Conference meet. . .  2006-07: recorded 94 points for the Golden Flyers. . . top performances included 25.72 in the 50-yard freestyle, 57.60 in the 100-yard freestyle, and 2:11.10 in the 200-yard freestyle. . . 2005-06: Beane had a strong freshman year as she scored 126.75 team points and placed 10th in the 100 freestyle and 11th in the 50 freestyle at Empire 8 Conference championships. . . Scholastic: a graduate of New Hartford High School, Beane participated in three seasons of varsity swimming and served as team captain in 2004-05. . . helped team to Section Three and state titles three straight years.
