Nazareth College Athletics

Biomedical Sciences major... daughter of Don and Daye Parsons, Stanley, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Parsons competed regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2022-23 and posted a personal-best time of 2:17.57 to finish 11th in the 200 IM at the Allegheny/Empire 8 Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... also finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.94) and seventh in the 200 breaststroke (2:36.66)... named to the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2021-22: Parsons had an outstanding performance at the Allegheny Mountain / Empire 8 Collegiate Conference Championship meet... in the 100 breaststroke, Parsons earned both second place and a personal best time (1:08.80)... earning another personal best, Parsons placed fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.02)... Parsons placed sixth in the 400 IM earning her third personal best time (4:56.09).

2020-21: Parsons represented the Golden Flyers at the Rochester Invitational during the pandemic-altered 2021 spring season... placed fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:36.31), sixth in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.59) and eighth in the 200 IM (2:19.64) to help Nazareth win the team title... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

Scholastic: a graduate of Marcus Whitman High School, Parsons swam on the varsity team for five seasons... was a six-time Section Five champion, including three straight wins in the 100 breaststroke... also named Outstanding Performer of the meet at the Finger Lakes League championships and helped team to four straight league titles... competed for the CSAY Seahawks club team... recipient of NYS Academic Scholarship and Professional Women of the Finger Lakes Scholarship.
