Daughter of Meghan Kurtz, Tonawanda, N.Y. ... returning for her second season after competing in eight meets for the Golden Flyers in her freshman year debut... first season as a Golden Flyer was highlighted by PRs in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:10.69, the 50-yard free with a time of 29.78, the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:32.56, and the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 33.59.

Scholastic: a graduate of Mount St. Mary's Academy, Kurtz was a member of the swim team for four seasons... competed as a backstroker for the Kenton YMCA and the Buffalo Area Aquatic Club.
