Nazareth College Athletics

Undecided on major... daughter of James and Lisa Barry, North Tonawanda, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Barry competed regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2023-24 and helped Nazareth to a fifth straight conference title at the Allegheny / Empire 8 2024 Championship meet... Barry took home first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.46, as well as taking 4th in the 100 yard backstroke with a personal best time of 1:05.94... Barry also placed 5th in the 100 yard free with a time of 59.09... Barry was also part of three successful relays including a 1st place finish in the 200 yard free relay (1:39.78), a 3rd place finish in the 200 yard medley relay (1:53.56), and a 10th place finish in the 400 yard free relay (3:58.53)... named to Empire 8 First Team for the 50-free and the 200 free relay.

2022-23: Barry swam regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2022-23 and helped the Golden Flyers to their fourth straight Empire 8 Conference title with a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:49.14) at the Allegheny/Empire 8 Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... also finished 11th in the 50 freestyle (:25.88), 14th in the 100 freestyle (:57.37) and 17th in the 200 freestyle (2:11.02)... named to the Academic All-District team (3.50 GPA minimum) by the College Sports Communicators.

2021-22: Barry finished the season strong with career-best times at the Empire 8 Championships ... she swam the third fastest 50 free with a time of 25.23 and also had a best in the 200 with a time of 2:05.49 ... her 100 freestyle time of 55.18 was also a career best and the third best time at the championships... spring honoree on Empire 8 President's List for GPA over 3.75. 

Scholastic: a graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy, Barry swam for four seasons there... twice named team MVP, most improved in 2020 and Rookie of the Year in 2018... recipient of Nazareth Presidential Scholarship and Research Scholarship... also competed for the Town of Tonawanda Titans Swim Club.
