Nazareth College Athletics

Psychology and Education major... daughter of Jason and Bethany Koeferl, Ballston Lake, N.Y... back for her third season, Koeferl was a part of the Allegheny Mountain / Empire 8 Collegiate Conference Championship winning team... Koeferl competed in the distance events for Nazareth at the meet... as an exhibition swimmer, Koeferl hit a season best for herself in the 500 freestyle (5:26.14)... Koeferl also swam the 1000 freestyle, earning a personal best time (11:30.11)... additionally, she swam the 1650 freestyle and earned yet another personal best time (19:02.16)... Koeferl also competed in the 400 IM, earning her fourth personal best time at the meet (5:04.03).

2020-21: Koeferl improved steadily for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... competed on the 800 free relay (8:08.23) that finished third at the Rochester Invitational... also placed fifth in the 500 freestyle (5:29.97), sixth in the 200 freestyle (2:03.44) and 11th in the 100 freestyle (:56.78)... recipient of team's Most Improved Swimmer Award... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2019-20: Koeferl competed as a distance freestyler in 2019-20 and had top times of 5:26.14 in the 500 freestyle and 19:02.16 in the 1,650 freestyle... also posted a time of 5:04.03 in the 400 IM.

Scholastic: a graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Koeferl was a four-year member of the varsity swim team there... competed as a freestyle specialist and helped team to Section Two team titles in 2015 and 2018... also competed for the Glenville YMCA club team.
