Nazareth College Athletics

Undecided on major... daughter of Omar and Tanya Santos, Gardiner, N.Y... returning for her third season, Santos competed in numerous events for Nazareth and helped lead them to their fourth consecutive win in the Allegheny Mountain / Empire 8 Collegiate Conference Championship meet... Santos swam the 100 breast, placing first and earning a season best time (1:06.56)... she also swam the 100 butterfly, placing first and earning another season best time (58.22)... Santos won the 200 IM, earning another season best time (2:13.37)... Santos was also a part of four winning relays... she swam the second leg of the 200 free relay (24.22)... she swam the third leg of the 400 free relay (53.85)... she also swam the breaststroke leg of the 400 medley relay (29.86)... additionally, she swam the breaststroke leg of the 400 medley relay as well (1:06.28).

2021-22: Santos excelled for the Golden Flyers again in the pandemic-altered 2021 spring season as she was part of seven winning events at the Rochester Invitational at Webster Aquatic Center... swam on four winning relays -- the 200 medley (1:46.54), the 400 medley (3:37.21), the 200 free (1:38.00) and the 400 free (3:34.15)... also won the 200 IM (2:11.12), the 100 butterfly (:57.76) and the 100 breaststroke (1:05.90) and Nazareth claimed the team title.

2019-20: Santos was sensational for the Golden Flyers in 2019-20 as she earned Empire 8 all-conference honors in seven events in helping Nazareth win its third consecutive league title... named E8 Rookie of the Year after winning the 200 IM (2:08.64), the 100 butterfly (:57.00) and the 100 breaststroke (1:05.68) at the Allegheny Empire Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... swam on three first-place relays -- the 200 medley (1:47.05), the 200 free (1:36.07) and the 400 free (3:32.24) -- and one runner-up -- the 400 medley (3:37.07)... named Nazareth's Newcomer of the Year... twice honored as Empire 8 Athlete of the Week (for 11/25/19 and 2/24/20).

Scholastic: a graduate New Paltz High School, Santos excelled there in swimming and track and field... a five-year member of the varsity swim team, Santos helped New Paltz to Section Nine title in 2017... a 15-time Section Nine champion, including four titles each in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly... named team MVP and competed at state meet... recipient of John Ford Award for outstanding athletic contributions... competed for Hawks Swimming Association club team.
