Mary Kate Ordway joined the Nazareth women's soccer staff in 2019 as a graduate assistant coach after completing her playing career in 2018.
Ordway was a midfield fixture for the Golden Flyers for four seasons, appearing in 70 games and contributing six goals and two assists. She served as team captain in 2018 and helped the Golden Flyers to a 9-5-4 overall record. She was a three-time Empire 8 Conference all-star, including a first-team honoree in 2017.
Off-the-field accolades included selection to the E8 Presidents List in 2017 and 2018 for producing a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
A native of Cicero, N.Y., Ordway was a standout soccer player at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. At Nazareth, she is working toward a graduate degree in Physical Therapy.
