A former four-year member of the Nazareth women's soccer team, Kara Eaker is back in 2016 for her fifth season as a part-time assistant coach.
She was a four-year starting defender for the Golden Flyers and helped the team secure an NCAA Tournament berth in 2008 and an ECAC Upstate title in 2007.
Eaker earned Empire 8 Conference all-star recognition three times, including first-team honors in 2010. She worked as an assistant coach at Pittsford Sutherland High School in 2011.
A native of Scotia, N.Y., Eaker played scholastically at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and was named Section Two Class A Player of the Year in 2006. Eaker graduated from Nazareth in 2011 with a degree in Social Work. She earned a Master's degree in 2012. She works as a counselor at Hope Hall.
