Dave Giordano

Dave Giordano, longtime soccer coach at Palmyra-Macedon High School, returns for his seventh season as an assistant coach with the Golden Flyers.

Giordano coached both the boys and girls teams at Pal-Mac for extended stretches. He coached the girls' team for 13 seasons, including 10 as head coach, and helped the team to two Section Five titles. As boys' coach for eight seasons (1991-98), Giordano helped Pal-Mac to the Section Five Class B title in 1997 and a runner-up finish in '98.

Giordano's coaching experience includes 15 years as women's open division head coach of the Western Region team for the Empire State Games. His teams captured 10 gold medals, two silvers and two bronzes. He also coached the Rochester Ravens pro team for two seasons.

Giordano was an all-conference soccer player at SUNY Geneseo and was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 1991. Giordano recently retired from teaching the Pal-Mac School District. He holds a B coaching license from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
