Son of Chuck and Pam Hamel, Ontario, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Hamel appeared in 16 games as a junior, including making one start... finished seventh on the team with 16 goals... also had two assists and seven ground balls... tied a career-high with three goals against Utica on 3/29/24.
2023: played in 14 games for the Golden Flyers in 2023 and contributed 10 goals and two assists... had a career-best three goals in a 28-4 win over Russell Sage on 4/15/23... added three points (2g, 1a) vs. Medaille on 4/12/23 and scored twice against Keuka on 3/29/23.
2022: Hamel appeared in 15 games in 2022, registering five goals and three assists for eight points... notched a goal and two assists in a win over Keuka on 4/20/22... also had two ground balls.
Scholastic: a graduate of Wayne Central, Hamel competed there in football, golf, lacrosse and basketball... played four seasons as a midfielder in lacrosse and was a three-time Finger Lakes League all-star, including a first-team honoree in 2021... recipient of football booster and lacrosse booster club scholarships... scholar-athlete award winner... played for 3D Upstate club team.
