Scholastic: a graduate of Marcus Whitman High School, Knapp excelled there in soccer and lacrosse... earned first-team Finger Lakes League all-star honors as a midfielder in lacrosse and named Senior Athlete of the Year... also played for the Finger Lakes Flamingos club team... member of the National Honor Society.
