Business Management major … son of Rich and Patty Serpe, Melville, N.Y… returning for his fourth season, Serpe appeared in all six games during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season, including five as a starter.
2019: Serpe played in 16 games for the Golden Flyers in 2019, including 13 as a starting midfielder... contributed five goals and three assists, including two goals each in wins over Alfred on 9/21/19 and at Hartwick on 9/28/19... also scored at Alfred State on 9/7/19 and had two assists in Nazareth's season opening win at Bard on 8/31/19.
2018: Serpe did not play for the Golden Flyers in 2018 while recovering from an injury.
2017: Serpe had an immediate impact for the Golden Flyers as he started all 17 games and had one goal and a team-best five assists… scored first career goal against Alfred State on 10/11/17… had assists against Brockport (9/2/17), Fredonia (9/12/17), Sage (9/16/17), Pitt-Bradford (9/26/17) and St. John Fisher (10/14/17).
Scholastic: a graduate of Half Hollow Hills East High School, Serpe played three seasons of varsity soccer… served as team captain in 2016 and helped team to Suffolk County League title… earned all-league and all-county honors… earned an array of awards, including Frank Bragoli Memorial Award for Excellence in soccer and Suffolk Zone Physical Education award… competed for East Meadow Hawks 98 club team, which reached national semifinals in 2017.
