English major. . . daughter of Wade Knutsen, Buffalo, N.Y. . . returning for her second season, Knutsen finished 62nd at the Buffalo State Invitational (23:35), 51st at the Colgate 4.2- K Invitational (22:07), 41st at the Nazareth Short Course Invitational (18:26.83), and with a time 21:56 at the Saratoga 5-K Invitational, hosted by RPI. . . Scholastic: a graduate of the Nichols School, Knutsen was a member of the cross country team for four seasons and earned MIP and MVP honors.
