Museums, Archives and Public History major... daughter of George and Kristina Brett, Morris, N.Y... returning for her third cross country season, Brett ran well in 2018 as she placed third at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Alfred on 10/27/18 to earn first-team all-conference honors with a time of 26:15.0 for 6 kilometers... finished in 101st place at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals at Rowan (25:53.9) on 11/10/18... posted top 6k time of 24:12.3 at Rowan on 10/13/18... ran well during the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons, placing second in the 1,500-meter run (4:53.13) and third in the 5,000-meter run (18:51.09) at the Empire 8 outdoor meet in May... top indoor times included 5:24.79 in the mile run, 2:25.34 in the 800-meter run and 1:28.62 in the 500-meter run... named to the Empire 8 President's List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2017-18: competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor and outdoor track and field teams and finished fifth in the 1,500-meter run (5:04.75) at the Empire 8 Conference Outdoor meet... top times were 2:25.84 for 800 meters and 4:59.61 for 1,500 meters... was part of the 4 x 400-meter relay that finished first at the Empire 8 Conference Indoor Championships in 4:10.67... in cross country, Brett ran regularly in 2017 and finished in 188th place at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet at Houghton with a season-best time of 26:01.7 for 6 kilometers.

Scholastic: a graduate of Morris Central School, Brett was a four-year member of the cross country and track and field teams there ... won track and field Section Four Class D 1500 meter individual title in 2017... also captured 800- and 1,500-meter titles in the Tri-Valley League in 2017 as well as the 4 x 800-meter relay... also won 1,500- and 3,000-meter Tri-Valley League titles in 2016... served as team captain in 2017 and was a four-time Tri-Valley league all-star.
