Sociology major… born 3/6/94… daughter of Robert and Sheila Meeson, Troy, N.Y… returning for her fourth cross country season, placed 43rd in 2014 at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Saratoga State Park with a three-mile time of 20:37.1.
2013: reached time of 19:39.3 for 5 kilometers, good for 32nd place at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Saratoga, and 24:35.9 for 6 kilometers, good for 161st place at the NCAA Atlantic Regional race at Letchworth State Park.
2012: competed in six meets… placed 99th (26:41) at the 6-kilometer NYSCTC meet in Fairport and 58th (21:04) at the 3.04-mile Empire 8 race at Saratoga.
Track and Field: Meeson competed during the 2015 indoor and outdoor seasons and had personal-best times of 5:48.89 in the mile and 11:36.09 in the 3,000-meter run during the indoor season and 5:18.02 in the 1,500-meter run and 41:00.26 in the 10,000-meter run during the outdoor season... finished 16th in the 5,000-meter run (19:58.48) at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Houghton on 2/14/15 and 12
th in the same event (19:47.21) during the indoor season at St. John Fisher.
2014: posted outdoor bests in the 1,500 (5:20.82), 5,000 (19:34.36) and 10,000 meters (42:26.93)… had a top indoor time of 11:48.68 in the 3,000 meters.
2013: had top indoor times of 5:57.45 in the mile and 11:56.17 in the 3,000-meter run... during the outdoor season, top times were 5:39.45 in the 1,500-meter run and 20:41.15 in the 5,000-meter run.
Scholastic: a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, Meeson was a member of the cross country and track and field teams… served as team captain of the cross country team as well as the indoor and outdoor track teams for two seasons each… earned Colonial Council all-star honors in cross country in 2010 and 2011… named indoor track MVP as a senior… recipient of several academic awards, including the Leon R. Lonsdale and Edith Craig Reynolds Awards… recipient of Scholar-Athlete award and a member of the National Honor Society.
