Nazareth College Athletics

Daughter of Will and Pam Grover, Penfield, N.Y... returning for her fourth season with the team after earning her second consecutive AVCA All-American award in her junior year … named All-Region and was an All-Empire 8 First-Team honoree … led Nazareth in nearly all stat categories with sets played (98), points (416.5), kills (342) and blocks (68) … finished second on the team with 347 assists and 37 aces and was third on the team with 218 digs … finished second in the country in triple-doubles with eight and was 21^st in the nation with 21 double-doubles … recorded season high totals for kills (22 vs. RIT), Assists (22 vs. RIT and Geneseo), Aces (6 vs. Oneonta), Digs (17 vs. John Carroll) and Blocks (7 against St. Lawrence) … a three-time Empire 8 Player of the Week, named All-Tournament at the Susquehanna Tournament, earned the National Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 1 and was crowned the Nazareth Female Junior of the Year at the Annual Year-End awards banquet.

2022: returned for her third season after another award-filled season as a sophomore … earned First Team All-Empire 8 honors and was named to the All-Tournament team in the season-opening tournament at Scranton … led Nazareth in nearly all statistical categories as she started all 29 matches for the Golden Flyers … recorded team highs with 660 assists, a .281 attack percentage and 81 blocks … she was ranked second with 200 kills and was fourth on the team with 185 digs … had seven double-digit kills matches including a season-best 17 kills against Utica and had double-digit assists in 27 of the 29 matches including a season- and career-high 48 against Hartwick … had her best match against Hartwick with 12 kills, a .450 attack percentage, 48 assists, eight blocks and six digs.

2021: Grover enjoyed a spectacular first season for the Golden Flyers in 2021 as she appeared in 24 matches and 87 sets overall... led team in assists (494) and blocks (63) and tied for the team lead in service aces (35) and was second in kills (186) to go with a team-best .241 hitting percentage... posted a triple double against Thiel on 9/11/21 with 18 kills, 19 assists and 10 blocks... honored as a first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star as well as league Rookie of the Year... also an honorable mention Region 3 all-star by the American Volleyball Coaches Association... named E8 Rookie of the Week six times -- 9/6, 9/13, 9/27, 10/18, 10/25 and 11/8... posted double digit assist totals 22 times, twice reaching a season-best of 42 -- vs. Utica on 10/22/21 and in the E8 semifinal match against Hartwick on 11/5/21.

Scholastic: a graduate of Penfield High School, Grover competed in volleyball and track and field there... played setter and right side in volleyball and was a two-time All-Greater Rochester selection by the Democrat and Chronicle... also named Monroe County League co-Player of the Year and AAU All-American for 2021... also played Paradigm club team... scholar-athlete award recipient.
