Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major... daughter of Steve and Kathy Burdick, Utica, N.Y... returns for her second season with the Golden Flyers after starting 36 games in her freshman season with 33 of the starts coming at third base … finished the season with a .256 batting average (30-for-117) with five runs, three doubles and 13 runs batted in … had three hits in game two and was 5-for-7 in the doubleheader against Keuka and added three more hits and 4-for-7 effort in the Sage doubleheader … had hits in each of the three games of the Empire 8 Tournament including a 2-for-3 game against St. John Fisher in the tournament semifinal.

Scholastic: a graduate of West Canada Valley High School, Burdick excelled there in soccer, basketball and softball... played five seasons of softball as a catcher and was a four-time Center State Conference all-star and a third-team all-state selection in 2019... served as team captain for two seasons and named tream MVP in 2021... helped team to three league titles and 2017 Section Three championship... played for the Utica Lady Comets club team... played point guard in basketball and was named first-team all-league for 2020-21 season and named team MVP... named WCV Most Outstanding Female Athlete for 2021... named class salutatorian and recipient of Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Conference Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above for the fall 2021 semester.
