Psychology major. . . born 6/14/89. . . daughter of Brett and Kathy Gillen, Fairport, N.Y. . . returning for her second season, Gillen appeared in 11 games at third base in 2008 and batted .200 with five hits, and five runs batted in. . . had two RBIs and a double in a win over Medaille 4/17/08. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Allendale Columbia High School, Gillen played third base and outfield. . . attended the University of Mary Washington prior to transferring to Nazareth before the 2008 season. . . recognized as the 2006-2007 scholar-athlete of the year at Allendale Columbia.
