Physical Therapy and Psychology major... daughter of Cheryl and Wendy Schmidt, East Syracuse, N.Y... returning for her second season with the softball team after appearing in 27 games and making 26 starts in 2022 … she made one start as the designated hitter and the other 25 came as the starting right fielder … finished fourth on the team with a .288 batting average (21-for-73) with eight runs, two triples and three runs batted in … had three hits in the first game and finished 4-for-7 with three runs and a triple in the doubleheader sweep of Keuka … had a single and scored a run in the 4-3 win over Sage in the Empire 8 Tournament … named to the NFCA National All-Academic team.

Scholastic: a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa, Schmidt played softball and tennis there... earned second-team all-Central New York as a softball outfielder in 2021... member of National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society... recipient of Randy Pacelli Scholarship, Math Excellence Scholarship and Nazareth Presidential Scholarship.
