Occupational Therapy major with minors in Psychology and Gerontology... daughter of Andrew and Valerie Daciw, Angelica, N.Y... returning for her fourth season with Nazareth after an award-winning junior season … she was named the Empire 8 Pitcher of the Year and a First Team All-Star as well as a member of the Empire 8 All-Tournament team … she was the Empire 8 Pitcher of the Week three times winning the award three consecutive weeks at the end of the season … was second in the conference with 10 wins and led the league with 160 strikeouts … her 17 strikeouts against Keuka is the second most in school history and her career-high … had double-digit strikeouts seven times including 17 against Keuka and 15 against Elmira twice … put together a steaks of 17 1/3 inning of scoreless pitching from 3/18 (Western Connecticut) to 4/3 (Keuka) … named to the NFCA National All-Academic team.
2021: returning for her third season, Daciw made 12 pitching appearances in 2021 and had a 3-6 record with 61 strikeouts in 66.1 innings... pitched five shutout innings with six strikeouts in an 8-0 win over Houghton on 4/13/21... tossed a seven-inning complete game with a career-best 13 strikeouts in a 7-1 win at Keuka on 5/1/21... went 4-for-14 with one double as a hitter... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Conference Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above for the fall 2021 semester.
2020: Daciw made three pitching appearances in 2020, including two as a starter... had a team-best 12 strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings... had eight strikeouts in four innings against Curry on 3/10/20.
Scholastic: a graduate of Genesee Valley Central, Daciw was a softball pitcher there for five seasons... named to
Olean Times Big 30 all-star team in 2018 and 2019, a three-time Allegany County League first-team all-star and Allegany County Class D1 MVP in 2019... also a two-time all-state selection... named Genesee Valley Central's Most Dedicated Player in 2017, 2018 and 2019... helped team to Allegany County Class D1 title and Section Five Class D1 finals in 2019... played for the Rochester Thunder club team... member of National Honor Society... recipient of several scholarships and awards, including Nazareth Founders Scholarship, Allegany County Sheriffs Department Scholarship, Belmont Rotary Club Scholarship and Genesee Valley PTO Scholarship.
